At the newly expanded Midway Shoe Repair shop, we can repair or modify just about anything you can walk around in, carry items in, or wear. Since 1965, the caring professionals at Midway Shoe Repair have done it all. From the basic re-soling of shoes to custom orthopedics and arch support, every customer at Midway Shoe Repair receives the highest level of attention to detail.

We know how important it is for your shoes, sneakers, boots or sandals to fit exactly how you want them to. We can replace soles, heels, tips, extensions, tassels, cork, and anything else that is part of your footwear. On rare occasions, if we don’t get it right the first time, bring the item back and we’ll make any adjustments to the original work at no charge. All work is guaranteed.

What We Can Do For You

In addition to the traditional work performed by cobblers since the colonial days in Williamsburg, Va., our recently added new machinery and relationships in the community allow us to build, repair and refurbish special orthopedic orders, law-enforcement gear, sports equipment, motorcycle gear, pocketbooks, clothing, footwear, and much more.

Are your favorite dress sandals starting to slip as you walk? Let the pros at Midway Shoe Repair make them snug again. Are your new sneakers too loose or too tight? They can add or remove as little as 1/8 of an inch up to adding 1 1/4 inches and make them fit perfectly. Is the paint on those classic Air Jordans peeling off? We’ll make them look like the catalog. Is that designer pair of “hot red heels” not looking ready for that big night out? Let us dye and tint them back to the future, and put new heel tips on so they look and feel new again. They’ll feel better and so will you. And don’t forget — new soles are good for the body and the soul!

Specialty Items:

Are the stitches on your pistol holster coming loose? Bring it by for a tightening and a fresh buff. Kevlar vest not tight enough anymore? We’ll snug it up for you. Did your podiatrist give you an Rx for a custom Orthopedic modification? Drop it off and we will fill it in a timely manner. Is your favorite catcher’s mitt dropping balls? We’ll fix the pitch on that glove. Hockey players bring their gear to Midway Shoe Repair to get patched up and back on the ice. Are the old patches on your leather jacket curling up? In addition to the specialty work from heel to toe performed at Midway Shoe Repair, we carry many traditional and unique accessories to help maintain and extend the life of your favorite shoes, sneakers, pocketbooks, leather jackets and many other wearables made from leather, suede, rubber and other materials.

If you have material you want an estimate on but you don’t have time to drive to our location, simply use our E-mail program and send us a couple of photos of the items from different angles. We will send you an estimate within 48 hours.

If you don’t see what you need on our Website, simply call our shop or send us an E-mail and we will answer your questions succinctly and politely. If you can think it up, we can likely do it.

NOTE TO OUR CUSTOMERS:

We replace soles and heels with the finest Italian materials available. If you want your soles / heels replaced with the same exact brand as the brand name of the shoe, such as Gucci, Louboutin, etc., please let us know when you place your order. In most cases, designer names DO NOT ship soles or heels to shoe-repair shops. Occasionally, we can obtain certain brands. However, our soles and heels carry the same guaranty as the manufacturer and are the highest quality.

For payments, we accept cash, local checks with ID, and MC / VISA.
